Description
From my comic Directions of Desttiny, the Student Council members of the Alatus Institute, featuring Zephaniah Zandell; an illustration to go with the Alatus Administartion picture in the Something Colorful artbook.
The artbook was something that was done towards the end of my year-long study abroad trip to Japan, and while I had originally vowed to continue my comic work while I was there, I ended up spending most of my time being a stupid tourist.
() So when the deadline for the artbook came around and I had the idea to do this picture, it made me realize just how very long it had been since I'd drawn my characters! >_o
It is my eternal shame that I had to look back at my comic for reference while drawing this picture, but even more shameful is that there are THREE notable inconsistencies here: Zephan's hair is wrong, Mei's part in her hair is on the wrong side and she's also missing elements in her eartails (would that be what you'd call that part of the hair??), and Libelle's NOT WEARING GLASSES aaahhh I suck _-_

I might be a little biased... but I've always adored Libelle's design and appearance. I loved the picture of her sleeping with the little lamb toy. <3
You could always play it off as just an alternate view of them. Like, maybe this is a month before the comic and Libelle had contacts, Zephan changed his hair style, and Mei wanted a change and parted her hair the other way. *shrug*
